general consensus

was to have the low pressure deepen more than was expected yesterday, but keeping the precipitation tightly confined to the deepening low pressure. This is being modeled as a really sharp gradient on the west side (where we will be). Also, as this bombs out, those in the tightly confined precipitation will get bombed. NWS has already put out warnings for CT for 18-24" including scattered t storms. So, you will be able to travel from E PA where you will get 4" and travel east for 1.5 hours and hit 24" of snow.....amazing.

The low still is sitting off the Carolina coast, and I am looking forward to see how fast this can bomb out. Its a shame this storm cant share the wealth and keep everything confined to a small area!

I am sticking with my ranges for now that i put out last night
