...NASTY WINTRY PRECIPITATION OVERNIGHT INTO MONDAY FOR MUCH OF EASTERN PENNSYLVANIA AND MUCH NORTHERN NEW JERSEY...

.INTENSIFYING LOW PRESSURE CENTERED OVER EASTERN INDIANA THIS EVENING WILL MOVE TO LONG ISLAND BY NOON MONDAY THEN ARRIVE IN NOVA SCOTIA LATE MONDAY NIGHT.

SLEET AND FREEZING RAIN. * SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...THERE IS THE POTENTIAL FOR UP TO AN INCH OR TWO OF SNOW. * ICE ACCUMULATIONS...THERE IS THE POTENTIAL FOR UP TO A TENTH OF AN INCH OF ICE. * TIMING...SNOW WILL BECOME WIDESPREAD BY MIDNIGHT AND POSSIBLY FALL HEAVY FOR A TIME BEFORE CHANGING TO FREEZING RAIN AND THEN RAIN MONDAY MORNING. * IMPACTS...HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED OVERNIGHT AND LINGER INTO MONDAY MORNING...ESPECIALLY NORTHWEST OF PHILADELPHIA. THE WINTRY PRECIPITATION IS FORECAST TO HAVE AN IMPACT ON THE MONDAY MORNING COMMUTE. SHARPLY FALLING TEMPERATURES ON MONDAY AFTERNOON WILL REFREEZE ANY STANDING WATER ON ROADS...
