Well, for the second time in a week, we have another named tropical system. This will be the second named storm prior to the beginning of the official "Hurricane Season" on June 1. Beryl, located off the GA / FLA coast will move westward and make landfall. After making landfall, Beryl will likely loose strength and become a tropical depression. Beryl will then move to the Northeast and upon re-entering the Atlantic Ocean, will gain strength and head for the Outer Banks, quite possibly as a Tropical Storm again! Quite the path with locally heavy rains, strong winds and thunderstorms in those areas where Beryl comes in contact. Here is the latest from the NHC:
