Squall Line Tonight

There will be a squall line approaching the area between 7-9pm. This
shall line has already produced a number of tornadoes in North Carina
earlier today with a lot of damage and fatalities. I do not think it
will be that severe here, but would not be surprised to have a tornado
watch issued this evening. Tornado watches are already hoisted for
Central and SE PA, Washington DC and Baltimore. These areas will have
the squall line push through earlier than us. Expect heavy downpours
and damaging winds with the squall line. Be safe!

Wild Monday Coming Up

This Monday will be the unofficial start of summer.... or at least it will feel like it. Temperatures will approach, and pass, 80 degrees in a number of areas. The shore areas will not escape the upper 60's due to the sea breeze effect and the "cooler" ocean temperatures. While the day will be extremely gorgeous, it will be short lived.

A good shot at severe weather moves in during the period of evening to overnight hours. Severe thunderstorms, dangerous lightening and hail will all be possible.

Enjoy the day Monday!

Rain has changed to snow

Over the area, rain has changed over to snow and a dusting can be
expected. Precipitation will end towards early afternoon. This may be
the last snow of the year, so cherish it!
